First days...

Curry dinner the first night!! Definitely worth the wait for this meal. Yummy! They gave me a rose at the end of the meal, too. :)

Once we arrived at Stuart's where I'm staying, I had to just lie down for a bit. I ended up napping for a couple of hours, but I didn't want to do much longer since that would throw me off even more with jet lag. Once I woke up, we went for an orientation walk around the neighborhood and went for dinner at the yummo curry house (not its official name).

Monday, I took it easy in the morning, but come the afternoon, I was ready for some touring. I decided to go to Westminster since I was walking past, and I had intended to go there at some point anyway. Today was as good as any for it! After the visit, I headed down to the river to stroll along Victoria Embankment. The weather was really perfect and I enjoyed being able to take my time to walk around! Since it was the monthly schnitzel night dinner, we joined the regular group at a Bavarian themed restaurant for beer and dinner. I ended up being the only girl there, but it wasn't a problem in the end! An enjoyable first day in London for sure.

I have a new love affair with curry! I never thought I would enjoy it, but was introduced on my trip and I am craving it now!! I dont know how to order my own yet, but whatever David ordered for me was yummy :) Glad you're having a good time!
